Melissa Jun Rowley is the executive director of The Toolbox. She writes about social justice, tech, gender issues and entrepreneurship. In another life, she was a field producer for CNN and the Associated Press and a correspondent for the Super Bowl. When she's not writing, you can find her basking near the horn section of her favorite jazz, blues, and R&B club.
